A Motherlodge Exchange is quite simply not possible without the assistance of the greater community, and the Spring 2012 Motherlodge will be no different.  As it stands, we’re currently in need of assistance in three primary capacities:

1) With the large number of artists coming in from out of town, we need a place or places to house them for their time in our fair city of Louisville.  We’re looking for sleeping quarters as well as a potential space to have an “extended green room” of sorts for artists to eat and socialize.  Have a spare bed or two or a creative space we might be able to utilize?  Drop us a line.

B) Show sponsors – As the participants’ list for each evening is finalized and distributed in the coming days, we’re looking for a small number of motivated individuals to adopt particular shows and help build an audience for them.  While we’ll be promoting the ‘lodge as a whole, we’d love to have a handful of people on the ground spreading word about particular evenings directly to the arts audiences in town who would appreciate them most.

III) A shuttle bus – This year, Motherlodge will again be utilizing multiple sites throughout the city, including the Rudyard Kipling, Headliners, and the Bard’s Town.  In addition, one of our performers will be staging a series of productions in a series of locations using the  mobile stage of a U-Haul truck.  Thus, we’re looking for a way to move performers and audience members from location to location, and a shuttle bus of some sort would be ideal.  Does anyone in the Motherlodge family here have access to such a vehicle, or any leads on procuring one for a few days in late March?
